This house was built for the first time during the Mukojima Net Event, an urban exhibition featuring town planning, architecture and art projects. if you are curious about the projects exhibited inevent, you can check: www.mukojima.cjb.net.
The site of the house is a vacant lot in the traditional urban tissue of the Tokyo shitamachi. This house is a temporary housing unit, a sort of guest-house for two people, easy to build, quick to dismantle, can be moved somewhere else when you get bored of the place.
